WINE, LAND AND MEN
The Kieffer Family welcomes you in the heart of the charming village of Itterswiller situated right on the famous “Route des Vins”. Here for 3 generations, the know how is passed from father to son. Robert and Marie-Reine Kieffer are for sure and will always remain “the soul of the House”. Their dedication to Customers and Wine making is unique, the vineyard count nowadays 12 Hectare of vines. Today, the Family vineyard is run by their Son Rémy Kieffer and his partner Michel Haensler. The greatest care is given to the grape, all the way from the ground to the glass. Our secret is love and passion.
REMY KIEFFER CREATIVE WINEMAKER
The Ploughing and the treatment are undertaken in full respect of the environment. The grape harvest is undertaken partly manually and by machine, and the output is monitored in order to produce high quality wines. the maturation on fine lies will provide stability and body to the wines, before they can be filtered and bottled. Ageing takes place in old oak casks. And yet, we are on the cutting edge of modern technology ! Pneumatic Press, Climatic controlled tanks are used to gain Aromatic finesse and well structured Wines.
The range of wines is divided into three chapters.
L’Envol, Les Fines Bulles and Les Tendres.
